Kent County 3k & 10k track champs (15th Jun 2011)

Start time: 19:30

Location: Central Park track, Dartford

Host: Dartford Harriers AC

Folkestone had a fantastic turnout for the KCAA Championships last Wednesday with 12 club members taking part and as a result we had the largest club entry at the event. We had some great results with Rona and Nikki picking up Gold and Bronze respectively in the 3,000 metres and Lucy would have also have picked up a medal but the age rules for the Under 20 category meant that she just missed out as she will be 20 later in the year! Dave Smyth picked up Gold in the Vet 50 category in the 10,000 metres, Grahame Silver in the Vet 60 and Dave Weekes a Bronze in the Vet 40. The remaining competitors for the club were Tina Eke, Kim Gardiner, David Gillett,Stephen King, Catherine O'Connor and Will Smith. Full times will be published when they become available.
