Entry detailsDownload the entry form from this page and mail to the Race Director. Please remember the SAE and correct postage.
The courseAfter leaving the Green, the run makes its way to the seafront along roads which will be closed to traffic on the way out. After that it is all traffic free seafront promenade - the obstacles become human beings at this point, so please be aware that pedestrians can, and often do, do strange things.
The course is almost completely flat apart from a short hill which will take you up into the Coastal Park. Consquently, PB's are a distinct possibility if the weather is kind to us.

Folkestone 10 2009 Race Report
This year’s race was a real contrast to the challenging cold wind of last year. Warm sun shone down on the competitors which created it’s own difficulties, but provided a pleasant day out for the spectators.
The warm conditions did not prevent some fine fast times being produced by those taking part. The ever successful Mike Coleman of Medway and Maidstone AC, led the field home in 51.43 nearly four minutes ahead of the second placed runner, fellow Medway and Maidstone runner Adrian Lowther in 55.21. The women’s race result whilst not as overwhelming was still conclusive with Folkestone’s own Rona Loubser in first place in 1.00.54 , over one and a half minutes ahead of her nearest rival, Tina Oldershaw from Paddock Wood AC in 1.02.41. The men’s team prize was firmly in the grip of Medway and Maidstone with Canterbury Harriers picking up the honours on the ladies race.
This year marked the end of Altan Ali’s tenure as Race Director and the club would like to show their appreciation of Altan’s efforts over the last six years.
