Latest Race Report

It was a relatively quiet weekend (unless you know different!) for our runners before the local races start to build up in the next few weeks.  Last Thursday evening Andy Noble and Caroline Curtis took part again in the Gravesend Floodlit 5k and both had excellent races as they ran season best times.  Andy was 4th in a time of 20.09 and Caroline was 9th in 22.49.  Of course a Saturday wouldn't be complete without the couple being involved in a park run and this weekend was no different as they ran in the Banstead Woods event.  Andy was 14th in a time of 20.55, whilst Caroline was 56th in 24.15.

The Ashford park run was as popular as ever with our runners as Steve O'Brien took the honours of winning the event in a time of 17.21.  Brian Davis was 10th in 21.09, Chris Woolgar 13th in 21.50, Steve King 21st in 23.11 and Mick James 26th in 23.33.

If anyone else ran please do let me know (tim@folkestonerunningclub.co.uk).
