FRC Weekend running report - missed from 15th Dec.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas ........ and it certainly was for Hayley Kluczynski who

running in the Saxons Vikings and Normans running challenge event on Sunday 16th December set out to run 13 miles but because this quirky run series offers laps Hayley carried on and ran an incredible 16 miles meaning she can certainly have that extra mince pie at Christmas!

At the Betteshanger Christmas cracker 5 also on the Sunday, festive runners came out in force proving that even in fancy dress you can take on a cold 5 miles.  First for Folkestone was Andy Richardson in a time of 36.05 next was Aldous Hosking in 36.44.  Dominic Shepherd 38.00.  Tony Scott 38.19.  Vicky Scott 38.22

But ..... Wow – On Sunday at the under 15’s category in the SEAA South of England indoor pentathlon Libby Turbutt took the silver medal competing in the 60m hurdles, the high jump, shot put, long jump  and 800 m
