Jody runs her 100th Parkrun

It was a quiet weekend for Folkestone running club although there is always a focus on the Folkestone parkrun which the club never fail to support

In the club’s parkrun challenge Phil Maul edged out Liam Cumber in the A cup challenge with Kev Newman running a season’s best to beat Chris Woolgar going through to the final in the B Cup challenge. 

Elsewhere on the course saw Lloyd Worsley and Dan Voller crossed the line together as first finishers with Dan running a personal best time of 17.01.  David Tyler ran 18.25.  James Whitham a personal best of 18.36, Dave Gillett 18.55,  Kev Newman 19.24,  Rob Hill 20.22, Stuart Erskine 20.50, Liam Cumber 21.17 Levi Atwell  21.24 And new member and first lady finisher was Ellie Hayes 22.08, Chris Woolgar  22.22 Caroline Curtis 22.47, Vicky Scott 23.18, Paul Bartlett 23.27, Clive Allon 24.26,  Phil Maull 25.06, Carolyn Lewis,  25.12  Alan Randall 25.17,  Catriona Watts 25.26 Tony Scott 25.58   Richard Fowles  26.01  Aldous Hoskin  26.23, Andy Richardson 26.24  Malcolm Gibbs 26.32  Jody Stoakes running her 100th parkrun in 27.11    Stevie King 27.56  Luke Fowles 28.18   Pam Allon 28.19  Kirsty Wilson   28.47   Linda Robson   28.55, Julie Gibbs 29.03 Trudi Curd 29.11 Debra Moran   31.38   Leah Atwell    31.40   Louise Fowler   32.16   Lisa Smith 32.32 Catherine Anne Curtis 35.21 and Caron Inder 37.57

In Warsaw , Poland  Emma Creasey  ran a time of 20.40 and in Tooting Common  Chris Addison  ran 32.33

About Us

Folkestone Running Club is a small friendly club for runners with ability ranging from elite to those that run less competitively, in Folkestone and surrounding areas in Kent. We also have a partnership club Folkestone Running Club Juniors for the under 13 age group. 

All adults wishing to join should be capable of running a 5k and be willing/able to join in the workout sessions put on by the coaches.
