A very wet Folkestone 10, Canicross and Park Run

The 35th annual Folkestone 10 took place on a very cold and wet Good Friday under the watchful eye of Race Director Dave Denyer.  Despite the extreme weather conditions the Race was enjoyed by many runners from far and wide and we have had some really positive feedback.   Folkestone Running Club members marshalled, clapped and cheered the runners along the route.  Four female and five male members of the club were chosen to run and all other members helped out in one way or another.

The men won the first Mens team prize – Phil Hoyland, Lloyd Worsley and Andrew Fletcher.  Worsley won the trophy for 3rd Male home.

Lloyd Worsley 55:08, Phil Hoyland 56:09, Andy Fletcher 56:37, Darren Crew 01:06:44, Stuart Sprinks 1:07:21, Caroline Curtis 1:13:16, Catherine O’Connor 1:14:38, Karen Puttock 1:16:35 and Vicky Scott 1:23:48
