Race Round Up

Seven Folkestone runners had a successful evening at the latest leg of the Samphire Hoe 5k series with every runner coming away with at least one bottle of wine! First home was Dave Weekes in 1st place overall and 1st Vet 40 in 17.54, Dave was followed by Rona, 1st Lady and 4th overall in 18.53. Tim continuing his fine run of form had another PB run finishing in 6th place in 19.22. Kevin finished 8th in 19.29 and Dave Smyth was 10th and 1st Vet 50 in 19.36. Angela finished with a PB, completing her run in 24.44 and the final member of the Folkestone team, Yvonne finished in 34.03.In addtional to the individual prizes, Folkestone were 1st Mens and Ladies Team Prize winners! Figgy was racing today in the challenging Bewl Water 15 miler, finishing in 2.42.39. Well done everyone! Tina
